Three Generations of POC INR Devices Compared Across Extended Anticoagulation Ranges

A validation study compared three generations of point-of-care INR testing devices against standard laboratory coagulation measurement across extended therapeutic ranges. The study assessed generational improvements in analytical performance for monitoring patients on anticoagulant therapy. These findings help laboratories and anticoagulation clinics make informed decisions when selecting or upgrading POC coagulometers for patient self-testing and clinic-based INR monitoring.
